How can I maximize the effectiveness of my vacuum bottle?
Preheat or precool your vacuum bottle by filling it with hot or cold water, attach the stopper and let stand for at least five minutes. Empty the water and fill it with the desired beverage. Cool bottles are for filling cold beverages only.
Don’t peel off the sticker on the bottom of the stainless bottle —why?
The sticker is a protective seal covering the vacuum weld. Removing it can reduce insulation performance, allow water into the vacuum layer causing corrosion, and even lead to structural failure.
BPA-FREE？
All Zojirushi vacuum bottles and mugs are made of high quality 18/8 stainless steel and BPA-free plastic. Lids, stoppers, and gaskets are also BPA-free.
Don’t fill with carbonated drinks —why?
Pressure inside the bottle can build up, preventing the stopper or lid from opening. Under sufficient pressure, the drink may spurt out, and the stopper, cup, or lid assembly could break and scatter, posing a safety hazard.
Secret to minimizing quality variations
Manufactured using Zojirushi’s proprietary Solo-Vac technology where each bottle is vacuum sealed individually to minimize variations in quality from product to product. In addition, all products are temperature tested to ensure quality.
